History

Going Yard is a softball team that formed in 2021 by chance. Despite never winning a championship, the team is known for its good spirit, fun-loving atmosphere, and, most notably, its skills at enjoying beers at the green room. The team was initially formed by a hodgepodge of folks who wanted to spend some quality time playing softball and bonding over beers. Over the years, Going Yard has become a staple in the Heyday community, attracting players from all walks of life who share a passion for softball and good times. Despite their lack of championship wins, Going Yard remains dedicated to playing their best, enjoying each other's company, and raising a few beers after the game. Whether it's on the field or in the green room, Going Yard is always ready to bring the good vibes and make memories that will last a lifetime.
